R.M. Colt is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, entrepreneur, and former corporate professional whose career spanned the military, television and radio production, and business leadership. His diverse background brings grounded realism to his storytelling, weaving together technical insight with a deep sense of humanity.

Colt is also a lifelong creative, having spent years behind the camera, in front of the microphone, and now at the keyboard. His writing reflects both his professional journey and his passion for exploring big ideas through character-driven science fiction.

Outside of writing, he enjoys sailing, playing guitar, and pursuing amateur astronomy. He makes his home in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he also indulges in the city’s vibrant coastal life and craft beer scene.
